#BTS Moments From The Golden Globes

Follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come. – Elizabeth Taylor

The Golden Globes were this past Sunday, and it’s been such a crazy week that I didn’t have any time to post pictures from the awards show on my blog. I apologize for the delay, however, I am so ecstatic to finally show you guys amazing #bts moments from the Golden Globes!

My good friend Michael Costello designed my beautiful emerald gown. I truly felt like an old Hollywood star in this dress. It was classy and chic and exactly what Michael had in mind for me when I went to his DTLA showroom. I actually wanted to go sexier and modern, due to the fact that I have lost over 45 pounds this past year! I really wanted to show off my body, however, Michael told me that the Golden Globes is a classy event and I can’t look too sexy.

He was right, as I got amazing reactions over my dress! I think my favorite part of my look was my JEWELS! I was in heaven wearing over $500,000 in Tacori diamonds. I really felt like Elizabeth Taylor walking around the red carpet with so many diamonds around my neck! The saddest part of my evening was when a Tacori representative and a bodyguard had to come to the Netflix / Weinstein Golden Globes after party and pick up my jewelry. It was a Cinderella moment where I felt like I had to return home in a pumpkin chariot.

For my glam look, my hairstylist Gilbert Muniz wanted to do a modern hairstyle. We didn’t really want to go “old Hollywood” with the hair – we wanted to keep it sleek and sexy. Rokael Lizama did my makeup and wanted to do a fun, glowy look. It’s a look that we always do and know it will work for me. Sometimes, it’s best not to take a crazy risk with makeup for an important event like the Globes and stick to what you know works best on your features.

My date for the night was my husband, who usually likes to be behind the scenes and doesn’t really like attending any Hollywood events. I always try to drag him to parties and he refuses to come, however, the Weinstein after party is always fun for him to attend. We went with a group of our friends and had such an amazing time! Thank you to Moet for always taking good care of me and keeping me apart their amazing family!
