I’ve seen a lot of trends make their way back to the runways over the years, and one of the biggest trends I’m seeing this season is seductive, flirty, romantic pieces just in time for spring!

From the runways at Paris Fashion Week to the streets of LA, I’m literally seeing ruffles take over the fashion world. What I love about this look is that it’s fun, girly, and just the right amount of flirty — so perfect for Easter and Mother’s Day! Another thing that I’m loving about this trend is the textures. Everything is so airy and light, it kind of makes you want to frolic through a field of flowers, right?

Lacy and asymmetrical, this high-low hemline with ruffle detailing from Zimermann will make you feel like an ethereal goddess!

This tiered mini-dress, also from Zimmermann, is the perfect way to incorporate ruffles into evening wear. Fun, flirty, sassy, and sweet!

And what’s more dreamy and romantic than soft, pastel colors and floral prints? There’s something about the combination of all these things — fabric, color, cut — that when all put together, make for the most romantic and ethereal pieces, which I’m all about right now.

The light, airy fabrics are one thing I’m LOVING about this trend! So great for spring!

How gorgeous is this Elie Saab gown? The pastel color and soft, ruffle detailing is to die for!

One of the easiest ways to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe without looking like Little Bo Peep is to add ONE piece with minor ruffle detailing to your closet. Whether it be a cute, girly dress that you’ll live in on weekends, or a crisp white blouse that you can rock at the office, when it comes to big, of the moment statement pieces, it’s best to start slow and work your way up if you like the trend! Like I always say, my go-to stores, Zara and even H&M and Forever 21, will have pieces that will still give you the look you want, without putting a dent in your bank account.

Something simple, like a button up cardigan with minor detailing, is the perfect way to try out the look without investing a ton of money in the trend.

This maxi dress from Forever 21 is SO cute and romantic — perfect for the weekend!

I seriously can’t get enough of this look! I’m definitely going to be incorporating a lot more of these romantic, dreamy looks into my wardrobe this season. What do you guys think of the up-and-coming trend? Let me know in the comments!
