How To: Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner Chanel Makeup Tutorial

| Beauty

While I’ve been raving about all the latest fashion I saw at Paris Fashion Week, I wanted to focus a little bit on one of my favorite beauty looks I saw! Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are some of the hottest names in the modeling industry right now, and their look for the 2017 Fall/Winter Chanel show was SO cool, I just HAD to recreate it!

Although super-dramatic makeup looks stunning on the runway, a lot of times it can be a little too dramatic for an everyday or evening look, so I put my own spin on it to make it a little easier to rock!

To start, my hair stylist sectioned, backcombed, and teased the heck out of my hair to get that full, windswept look that was all the rage on the runway. Using a TON of hairspray is the trick to getting your hair not to budge at all — trust me, this style held all night! And if you’re worried about your hair having that over-sprayed, crunchy texture, don’t worry! Simply combing the hair spray through the hair right after applying it will take care of that.

This comb works WONDERS for backcombing!

My makeup artist started by applying an eyelid primer and defining my crease with a warm brown eye shadow a couple shades darker than my skin tone. She then applied a metallic shade over my entire lid, lined my top lash line, and finished with It Cosmetics Superhero mascara.

Using a shadow a few shades darker than your skin tone keeps everything looking natural.

Powder liner is easy to smudge and blend and doesn’t look as harsh as a liquid liner!

Adding a few false lashes widens eyes and gives you that extra oomph!

We then used an Estee Lauder foundation, which I absolutely LOVE! It gives you great coverage and lasts all day or night, which is exactly what I look for in a foundation! We also used Lorac Pro to contour and a highlighter which is seriously the best highlighter I’ve ever used. It gives you this amazing, luminous glow that really makes your cheekbones pop!

Finally, to finish off the look, we used Kylie Cosmetics lip liner in Moon along with matte liquid lipstick in Posie K and topped it with gloss in So Cute.
