The deadliest mass shooting took place last night in Las Vegas on it’s infamous strip. A gunman who fired upon thousands of people attending the multi-day Route 91 Harvest country music festival which was filled with over 20,000 people. The gunman killed over 58 people and over 515 people have been wounded.

Waking up to the horrific news, I just can’t understand what is going on in our world? It seems like it’s becoming the norm where you can be killed just going out to watch one of your favorite acts. We saw the same incident happen in Manchester and now here in the US. As a mother, I am so worried about my daughters future.

I just feel like there is so much hate in the world today and people are finding the wrong ways to let out their anger. My condolences to everyone who was involved with the shooting. My prayers out to the victim’s families and to those who were wounded.

Watching the news, I can’t help but think about the idea of gun control SOMETHING MUST BE DONE! I am pretty outraged on why Congress has not done more to restrict access to deadly firearms. Especially five years after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown.

I have been on that Las Vegas strip on many occasions where there have been thousands of people along my side. Whether it’s been for New Years Eve or concerts. I honestly can’t imagine what it would have been like to be in that crowd.

Once again, I am so sad about this tragedy and there must be CHANGES MADE IN OUR GOVERNMENT. I know I am usually blogging about hair, makeup and fun stuff. However, with the news of one of the most deadliest shooting in our country, I couldn’t help myself but to release my anger towards what just happened. I am a mother and I am concerned about the future of my children. I know a lot of other mothers can relate to me on this. It’s become such a sad world filled with so much hate. I pray for peace and more LOVE.
