Festival season is upon us, and one item that every girl needs when attending the shows is a fanny pack.

This year at Coachella, there will be a lot of fanny packs. And a lot of different kinds. You’ll see stylish belt purses, and fun metallic colors from cool brands like Rebecca Minkoff.

Why? Because fanny packs are incredibly versatile in both style and function. First of all, there are different ways to wear a fanny pack. You can sport it on your waist the traditional way. Or you can wear it to the side, as seen on some of our favorite girls in Hollywood.

When I prep for Coachella, the first thing I pick out is the fanny pack I’m going to wear. Then I create my look around it. How crazy is that something as deceptively simple as a fanny pack can hold that much sway over an entire outfit?

 

 

The reality is that wearing a fanny pack is just a smart idea if you’re headed to an outdoor festival, especially Coachella.
