My Greece Lookbook and Guide

| Uncategorized

Last week, I went on vacation to one of my favorite places in the world: Mykonos, Greece. I first visited Mykonos eight years ago on my honeymoon. That’s when I fell in love with the island, and I’ve made many trips there since then.

What I love about Mykonos is it’s a lively city. Everyone is in good spirits and ready to party at all times. But don’t get me wrong; you can get away with relaxing there too. That’s what I did during the first half of this trip. But, for the most part, it’s a big party island.

For this most recent vacation, I packed a lot of flats. It’s almost impossible to walk through the Mykonian streets with heels. You’ve got to bring cute flats that you can wear during the daytime or evening, because days in Mykonos are long, taking you from the beach clubs to evening parties.

You end up spending a lot of time at the beach clubs in Mykonos, so it’s a good idea to pack a variety of swimwear options. This time around, I brought a lot of one-piece swimsuits and coverups because I didn’t feel comfortable wearing a two-piece after having a baby recently.

As far as outfits for the evenings, it was cute dresses and one-piece jumpsuits. The island is pretty casual for the most part.

Let me tell you about my favorite places to go when I’m in Mykonos!

For lodging, I like staying at the Santa Marina Resort and Villas in Ornos Bay. That hotel is like my second home and the place to be with Buddha Bar Beach.

In terms of beach clubs, I love going to Principote at Panormos, Nammos at Psarou Beach, and Solymar at Kalo Livadi. On Sundays, you must go to Scorpios and stay the whole day there. It’s the place to be, from the beach club to watching the sunset to the nighttime party.

For dinner, I love Interni Restaurant. The crowd and food there is amazing. But my all-time favorite place is Sea Satin, where you literally dance on tables and break plates. I have videos of it in my Instagram Stories, which you can check out on my Instagram page.

I also shot a fun YouTube video about how to deal with your hair while in Mykonos, since its so humid there. You can watch that video below, and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more!
